Biography
Natalia Menéndez González is a PhD candidate at the European University Institute where she researches the proportionality within the use of Facial Recognition Technology.
She is also a teaching assistant at the School of Transnational Governance, a research fellow at the Information Society Law Center at the University of Milano, a co-founder of The DigiCon blog, a visiting researcher at the Biometrics Law Lab of the Center for IT & IP Law at the KU Leuven Faculty of Law and Criminology and former vice-chair of the PhD students in AI Ethics research group. Her other research interests include AI Ethics, especially for Natural Language Processing and the intersection between Artificial Intelligence and Democracy.
