Biography

Magdalena is a 4th year PhD researcher at the Department of Economics at the European University Institute. She has an undergraduate in economics with a specialisation in competition policy and digitisation from Tilburg university in the Netherlands.

Her research focuses on applied microeconomics covering topics in competition policy and industrial policy under the influence of digitisation and artificial intelligence.

Magdalena has gained experience in merger analysis and antitrust cases at DG Comp in Brussels. She also worked as an independent consultant on several antitrust and litigation cases.
